IT decision makers revealed all the things that they’re more likely to hear about than cyber security protocols.
In a survey released by Centrify, over 4,000 IT decision makers listed things that they said they were more likely to hear about than their organisations’ IT security.
Amongst the results, five of the things that employees felt took higher priority over information security in all-staff announcements were:
- Kitchen etiquette
- Free food
- The weather
- Social work outings
Other things that were likely to take priority were company financial reports, employees leaving or joining and new policies.
Overall, 40 per cent of UK IT decision makers said that security isn’t getting enough attention.
